What’s up everyone. I hope you’re not expecting a bio from me as if I were some seasoned journalist or ex-racing legend. Quite the opposite. Although, I’m the ultimate fan. So, what makes me think I can run a automotive blog? Love of the sport and the culture. My experience with cars and motorsports is pretty checkered, but it’s enough to keep my gears going.

Age 7

When I was in the 5th grade My Father and Uncle made me a 5hp Briggs & Stratton go-kart. I was immediately in love. Soon after my interest shifted to Motocross. My Uncle raced in the 1984 Anaheim Supercross and I was struck once again. He taught me all about the bikes and I’ve had every size Kawasaki from 80 to 500cc. I could have been the first James Stewart…Nah never, but close.

Once I exhausted the bikes, my Uncle brought home a 100cc race Kart! DONE, I was hooked for sure now. That soon became too expensive so I started subscribing to all the major car mags and absorbing stats galore.

Once I got the chance, my brother and I bought 5.0 Mustangs (see video below). Hello bracket racing! Five Mustangs later and I’m a Dad and love the comforts of my 4 door sedans that are the 335i and Passat.

I have been to several driving schools and have officially been bitten by the ‘go-fast’ bug. Only problem is I don’t have deep pockets. So, those who that can’t…blog.
